Last year, I wrote a book on how the time spent with my father when I was growing up shaped me. Many themes in the book were around the engineering technology of audio and video, as my dad designed televisions systems for nearly 40 years. I wanted to express my love of media through the ages in a way that was entertaining and inspiring and also related to someone who was born in the late seventies and grew up in a house with plenty of media technology.
All of these models are created in Onshape. I work for PTC/Onshape building the greatest design tool ever imagined along with a team of amazing people, and while I'm a software developer, not a professional mechanical engineer or product designer, I love using the tools I create, so my project this past few months was sharing this creation.
